...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
county, Newton.
* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 903 AM CDT, gauge reports indicated minor flooding,
however moderate flooding expected on Big Cow Creek possibly
starting tonight this week. Flooding is already occurring in
the warned area. The creek will likely fall below flood stage
mid week before increasing again late in the week potentially
into moderate.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Newton.
